We are pleased to invite you to Moscow to participate in the annual 8th exhibition-conference “NDT and Technical Diagnostics in Industry”, at the same time you will have chance to participate in:
- 6th All-Russian contest of NDT specialists,
- 4th International competition of innovations

To participate in the conference the authors shall send abstracts latest on 1 February, 2009 to the e-mail address: spektr@co.ru (fax copies will not be accepted).

Participation fees
All fees will be charged in rubles. The amount of the participation fee depends on the date of payment.
– Taxes where applicable are not included.

Duration of oral presentations – 20min.
Available equipment: projector, PC.
Presentations format – “.ppt” (PowerPoint)
Official languages; Russian and English. (The presentation in English will be sequentially translated into Russian, so authors should share time with interpreter. In the last case the wording of the presentation should be sent in advance!)

The conference is supported by the European Federation for NDT (EFNDT) and the International Committee for NDT (ICNDT)

Instructions for Abstracts Preparation

- The abstracts shall be presented in electronic form (files with extensions “.doc”, “.pdf”, “.txt” and “.rtf” are acceptable, fax copies will not be accepted!),
- Volume not more than 2pp. Paper size - f A4,
- Font “Times New Roman”, recommended Font size 12 points,
- Margins: 2sm left, right, top, bottom.
- Marcos use and embedded objects of ActivX type are not allowed
- General lay-out:
• Title – capital letters with single line spacing, center the title
• Leave two line spacing and type authors and co-authors names, company, place, country. Use one line spacing and center this paragraph.
• Use recommended font for running text. Keep all text aligned justified.
• Structure of abstract: introduction with pointing out the topic of the abstract; basic results; discussion of results; summary.
• Illustrations: while preparing and inserting illustration do not forget that they will be reproduced by standard polygraphic means. All drawings, pictures, etc. should be clear and contrast.

These instructions are designed for the author and/or typist. They should be carefully read and followed. The abstract wording will be finally printed as it was submitted to the program committee, no editing will be performed. The correctness of wording, information, illustrations quality, etc. – is the sole responsibility of the author of the abstract. Submitted abstracts will be identical to the sent text ….

File with abstract should be clearly identified by using the surname and initials of the author. If the author has more than 1 abstract, please number it (for instance, Name_B_V_1.doc).
The filled by participant registration form should be sent as separate file at time when abstract is sent to the attention of the Program committee.

If the participant would like to present his/her work but cannot visit the conference – he/she shall send together with abstract the poster itself. Poster size – A0.
The poster should be labeled as follows: Title, Author, Company, City, Co-Authors. The poster should be readable from 2 m distance.
